Howdy all! It’s been exactly one week since the release of Nameless: The Departed Cycle, and we are unbelievably thrilled by the outpouring of love we have received thus far.

But there’s no rest for the wicked (or in this case, the fiendish), and we have been hard at work patching the game to make Nameless an even more enjoyable experience.

With this new update comes a slew of quality-assurance upgrades:

Mac and Linux builds
Minor UI improvements
Improved audio balancing
Adjustments to in-game effects
Minor sprite fixes (night tint, etc)
Improved save/load screen resolutions
Added a few written lines to improve clarity
Supplementary voice acting (minor barks and quips)

We’ve also updated the itch page with a few general improvements:

Game trailer
New headers
Updated screenshots
Additional game information

For those that play on Mac, we highly recommend using the itch.io app to assure the game launches properly.

While voting directly on the game page is not yet available per the constraints of Spooktober, we encourage you to head over to the Nameless game jam page and leave a rating! We also read through every single comment and always do our best to respond, so don’t be shy… we want to hear your thoughts!

Finally, the Nameless: The Departed Cycle Steam page is now live! We encourage you to wishlist the game, and keep an eye open for our official Steam launch. We plan to include a number of art updates along with a ~2k epilogue, so you definitely won’t want to miss it!

As a reminder, Nameless: The Departed Cycle is available for free through October 31, after which the $9.99 price tag will be applied. Grab it for free while you can!
