Did you enjoy The Space Between Stars? Please don't forget to rate the game!

As evening descends, you cross paths with a handsome man of indistinguishable origin who appears to have fallen from the sky. He is unwilling to divulge his name or his background... but perhaps there is something else he is willing to share with you this evening?

The Space Between Stars is a small-scale visual novel utilizing minimal assets to tell a unique and mysterious story in under 1,000 words. It was developed for the 2024 O2A2 Visual Novel Jam.

This game takes place in the same universe as Nameless - The Departed Cycle. While unrelated to enjoying this bite-sized biscuit, Nameless is a free dark-fantasy visual novel featuring 20k words, 5 endings, and a prominent male/male romance. You are encouraged to play it after experiencing this game.

The Space Between Stars incorporates suggestive themes including implied sex and death. The game does not contain visual or textual nudity of any nature.

1,000 words - The Space Between Stars is a short story digestible in under 30 minutes. With four potential endings, your fate is in your hands. Does the Traveler compel you enough to spend the evening with him? Or do his words wear thin?

Original illustration -  The Traveler's unique character design laid over a lush, ethereal background set the scene for this dark fantasy fantasy. Check out our bonus offerings for even more of a visual treat. ;)

Original soundtrack - Hand-plucked sitar recorded by our skilled composer enhance the dreamlike quality of this short visual novel.

One super hot, very horny demigod - This one speaks for itself, doesn't it?

This was a lovely experience with such a pretty demi-god!

I enjoyed all of the endings (even if some could definitely be considered bad) and the story was told very well even with the limitations of the VN jam.

I'm definitely going to have to play Nameless - The Departed Cycle sometime to see more of this universe!
(I also will have to donate for the illustration pack for this VN sometime 👀)

Thank you so much for playing and sharing your experience, Cryptid! We're thrilled you enjoyed this short little 'story.'

An additional thank you for the kind comment and positive rating. We look forward to your thoughts on Nameless, as well... it's a very different game! ;)

Hot monster man, seductive voice acting, beautiful music. What's not to love?

Oh my gosh, thank you! I'm the voice of The Traveler! This was the best compliment ever!
